Job Description :
Job Purpose (Job Summary): To complete
QA activities required to meet business requirements. QA activities
should be completed within expected delivery dates and should adhere to
all Invesco development standards. The ability to communicate with both
business users and IT professionals is a must.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Complete all tasks related to requirement analysis, creation of the
functional and regression test cases, quality assurance, system test and
implementation in accordance with the QA methodologies.
Analyze requirements, build the test cases and test system components or amendments.
Always conform to documentation and quality standards as defined.
Review, discuss and work within agreed timescales and feedback to project managers any variances arising as tasks are performed.
Understand client business and make recommendations / suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency.
Be prepared to carry out business analysis tasks to ensure that the development/change meets user requirements and expectations.
Perform thorough functional and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems.
Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and
management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone,
meetings).
Assist project and line managers in producing estimates for the QA phase of projects
Specific Technical Skills Required: Working experience on the QA process / methodologies.
Hands-on experience with: Web Analytics (concepts, data collection, organization and presentation).
In Depth knowledge of:
QA Process and Methodology.
Creation of the Automation and Regression Test Cases.
Web Technology Awareness (Protocol, HTML, Java script and CSS).
Familiar with:
Functional Area Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
Experience in performing the End to End Functional and Regression Testing.
Up to date on current web technology trends and best practices
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum of 0-3 years of proven systems development experience using structured methods
Solid experience of working in project teams
Desire to stay abreast of new QA tools and methodologies

o Have a grasp of fundamental web analytics concepts and terms
o Have a working knowledge of at least one web analytics tool and options for data collection (Net Insight, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, WebTrends, Omniture, or another)
o Have a working knowledge of databases and SQL
o Be comfortable with the Unix command prompt for command execution
o Have an orientation in current web technologies, social media and related concepts.
o Basic understanding of statistics a plus
Web Analytics related tasks
o Assist in the configuration and creation of digital analytics reports and dashboards
o Analyze reports and underlying data for issues
o Review and confirm web site analytics setup
o Offer support to the clients the area of digital analytics via email or phone.
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems Computer Science is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience
