We are an IT Solutions company (ISO 9001, SEI CMM Level 3) headquartered in Virginia, U.S.A having our offshore Development Centre in Bangalore. The services that we offer include Software Product Design and Development, System and Application Integration, QA and Testing, and Application Maintenance and Production Support.

We have an urgent opening for Software Application Support with our Fortune 500 client. This opening does NOT have any night shifts / graveyard shifts and NO weekend shifts.

Total experience: 0-6 mnts in software support (or technical support) with experience in handling global customers

NOTE: This position requires excellent written and spoken communication skills. You may be required to clear a GD and / or essay writing for establishing the same.

Total experience :
0 – 6 months in software support / application support (or technical support) with experience in handling global customers.

Qualification : Freshers need to be graduates (BE / BTech, Bsc / BCA) or higher (MCA / MSc) with a minimum of 70% marks

Work Location : Bangalore

Skills Required :

Must have (mandatory):

Solid understanding of object oriented theories

Hands on experience with core Java and related technologies

Good scripting knowledge with Shell scripting / Javascript / VB script

Solid understanding of database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2)

Hands on knowledge of one or more platforms / OS such as Windows, variants of Unix/Linux

Very good theoretical and practical understanding of networking concepts, TCP / IP, IPv6, VPN

Knowledge of Software Configuration Management /Application Lifecycle Management tools / principles

Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have (optional):
- UNIX system administration experience is nice to have Background in Networking and NIS is highly desirable
- Understanding of LDAP / ADS
- Hands on experience of application servers such as JBoss / Tomcat
- Awareness of web-related technologies such as HTML, XML and Web servers such as Apache / Tomcat / Jboss / Glassfish
- Familiarity with client/server based software applications.
