JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
The Trainee Content Analyst will be responsible for the collection and maintenance of accurate data to serve the client on timely basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Process data and using in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge to add value (this includes exchange and contributed data).
2. Liaise with local exchange to ensure that data is maintained at a high standard Work with contributors to ensure that their data is maintained to a high quality ensuring that where possible existing contributors extend their level of coverage to new markets and instrument types when needed.
3.Act as a secondary source of knowledge on own data, communicating with other departments and external departments in the resolution of queries on exchange data and historical data as needed.
4. Develop towards being a centre of excellence on all issues relating to real time and contributed data.
5. Adhere to Change Control procedures, Data Operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
6.Ensure that the relevant procedures are maintained and adhered to.
7.Respond to customer issues on a daily basis Alert internal and external clients when data issues are identified
8. B.Com, BBM, MBA, M.Com, BA (Journalism/English) Freshers ONLY .
9. Should have reasonably good understanding about basic accounting concepts, financial mgt concepts and basic accounting ratios.
10. Should have reasonable awareness about financial statements. Should know what these statements mean, what all components do these have etc.
11.Should have good communication skills – written. Though no client interaction is required but still a person need to have written skills developed to an extent where he can frame a communication / paragraph without any grammatical errors.
12.Should have interest in capital markets and has aspirations to make a career in capital markets over a period of time. Anybody interested in accounting is not desirable for hiring.
13.Should be flexible enough to work in different shifts at different points in time.
14.Should have basic awareness about computers and should be good on keyboard skills.
15. Should be comfortable with data job. It s not an analytical role.
16. Should be able to work under pressure during busy seasons. There would be a need to over stretch during the busy season to manage the volumes.
17. Should be a very quick learner and should display high level of agility.
